DOE and USDA to Invest Up to $18.4 Million in Biomass Projects “DOE and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced on March 4 that they will invest up to $18.4 million in 31 biomass research, development, and demonstration projects over the next three years.”
General Electric invests in electric carmaker Think “Industrial giant General Electric has invested approximately $4 million into Think Global, the Norwegian company that specializes in electric town cars.”
UAE, Spain plan €800m solar plants “A joint venture of Emirates-based Masdar and Spain’s Sener Grupo de Ingenieria plans to invest €800 million (Dh4.51bn) in three solar power plants in Spain, Masdar said in a statement on Wednesday.”
Solar Coalition gets enthusiastic financial endorsement “There was no debate; just enthusiastic statements of support for the work of The Solar Energy Coalition. The Ulster County Legislature unanimously approved $200,000 in funding for services of the TSEC.”
